Different types of poly bags:

Flat poly bags are the most common type of poly bag. They are open on one end and closed on the other. Sometimes side welded and sometimes bottom welded, depending on the size. These bags are manufactured on a roll and feature a perforated line between each bag, allowing a machine to automatically dispense and fill them. Heat Sealable

Our bags are heat sealable and easy to seal with an impulse sealer. Please follow the following guidelines from sealing temperatures based on bag thickness:

1-4 Mil: Temperature should be set between 230-250 degrees Fahrenheit and hold for .2-1.2 seconds, with a pressure of 300-350 PSI
5-8 Mil: Temperature should be set between 240-250 degrees Fahrenheit and hold for 1.2-1.7 seconds, with a pressure of 350-400 PSI
