Zip lock bags with vent holes offer the convenience of a reclosable seal and the added benefit of ventilation. They are ideal for packaging items where controlling moisture or air exchange is important for maintaining quality or reducing package volume.
Our Clear Vent Hole Reclosable Bags are made of virgin low density polyethylene and meet all USDA and FDA requirements. Each reclosable poly bag features a prime quality zip that will protect its contents. The vent-hole bags are perfect for apparel packaging as it allows the excess air to escape from the bag enabling all trapped air to be released, thereby reducing packaging space needed during shipment, and making the stacking and storage of the clothing more efficient.
Produce is also many times packaged into bags with vent holes. The vent holes allow for air circulation and the escape of moisture that can get stuck into closed bags. This way mold and mildew is prevent and the produce stays fresh longer. By allowing the air to escape it also helps regulate moisture levels and for the escape of ethylene gas, thus slowing down the ripening process and extending the produce's freshness.
The vent hole sizes generally range between such as 1/8″ to 1/4″ in diameter. Most of our vent holes are sized at 3/16" and placed .375" centered beneath the zipper closure. Please note that placement and size may vary

These clear zipper locking bags with a vent hole are reusable and #4 recyclable.
With plenty of sizes to choose from, you'll find one for every situation. The sizes are listed width by length from beneath the zipper and do not include the lip above. We always recommend going with a bag slightly larger than the product to ensure a comfortable fit. Please note bag tolerances are +/- 1/8" on size, and +/- 10% on thickness.

They meet all USDA and FDA requirements and are BPA free, making them safe for food use.
