Overview:
These Tamper Evident Barrier Zip Lock Pouch Bags are filled by loading from the open bottom. Meant to be heat-sealed to create a tamper-proof seal at the bottom. Tamper-proof bags must then be cut along the top above the zipper to open. Bags come with tear notches to help cut above the zipper. Side seals and spot welds slightly narrow the pouch opening. The listed size, 6 X 12, reflects end-to-end outer dimensions, including the area above the zipper. Wide side seals create a nice, strong seal. The usable space is smaller than the listed dimensions. Meets FDA and USDA specifications for food contact.
