#4 recycle means the plastic is #4 on the Resin Identification Code, also known as LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene). LDPE is commonly used for plastic bags, squeeze bottles, and certain types of food containers. While LDPE is recyclable, it's often not accepted in curbside recycling programs due to its lightweight nature and potential to clog recycling machinery. However, some retailers and communities offer drop-off locations for #4 plastics.
PCR stands for Post Consumer Recycled.
PCR plastic is made of plastic materials that were once used by consumers, discarded, then pulled out of the landfills by recycling centers, and repurposed into something new, in this case our PCR plastic zipper bags. The quality of PCR plastics is equal to regular plastic film in terms of protection, performance, and strength. At the same time you are helping our environment and keeping our landfills in better shape.

2 Mil is the standard thickness for Reclosable bags and 4 Mil is the standard for heavy duty. These two thicknesses are the most popular for zip lock bags and are used in every conceivable industry imaginable. Some common industries that use these economical bags for packaging are jewelry, food, pharmaceuticals, office supplies, fulfillment centers ,as well as medical and dental supply companies.

Our zip lock bags are side welded, which means the bottom of the bag is seamless, making product holding very durable. All clear zipper bags feature prime quality reclosable zips that provide a strong grip and will keep items safely held. They have an easy outer pull and hard inner pull, so items are simple to insert and kept safe inside once the zipper is pinched shut.
With plenty of sizes to choose from, you'll find one for every situation. The sizes are listed width by length from beneath the zipper and do not include the lip above. We always recommend going with a bag slightly larger than the product to ensure a comfortable fit. Please note bag tolerances are +/- 1/8" on size, and +/- 10% on thickness.
Our clear, resealable ziplock bags are BPA free, making them safe for food use. Additionally, our bags are ROHS and REACH compliant and comply with California Proposition 65 and all applicable CONEG heavy metal restrictions.

Our bags are heat sealable and easy to seal with an impulse sealer. Please follow the following guidelines from sealing temperatures based on bag thickness:
Temperature should be set between 230-250 degrees Fahrenheit and hold for .2-1.2 seconds, with a pressure of 300-350 PSI
