Tamper Evident Barrier Zipper Pouches, Bottom-Loading

Bottom-Loading Laminated Barrier Zipper Pouches
These Tamper Evident Barrier Zip Lock Pouch Bags are filled by loading from the open bottom and then heat-sealed to create a tamper-proof seal. Tamper-proof bags must then be cut along the top above the zipper to open. Bags come with tear notches to help rip open the lip above the zipper. The zipper allows the food to stay well sealed even once the bag has been opened. Additionally you can keep opening and closing the bag with the zipper locking feature to continually access the remaining contents.
Side seals and spot welds slightly narrow the pouch opening. The listed sizes are outer dimensions, including the area above the zipper. The usable space is smaller than the listed dimensions. Wide side seals create secure bag seams.

Construction of a Zip Lock Barrier Pouch
What is laminated packaging?
Laminated packaging is a type of packaging that uses two or more materials that are bonded together using an adhesive. This type of packaging is often used for food products but can also be used for other products.
The lamination process begins with two or more materials that need to be bound together. These materials can be paper, poly, metalized polyester, foil, oriented polypropylene, or a combination.
Once the materials are gathered, they are fed into a laminating machine and bonded together using heat and pressure. The heat and pressure depend on the laminated materials and the desired results.
